Endless Love

In the morning, a steady, seemingly unforgiving rain dampened lawns but not spirits.  Plan B sat waiting patiently in the background.  Ignoring the gloom, hair got coiffed, fingers and toes got manicured, lipstick got applied and cologne spritzed. Vests were buttoned up, hats tilted just so and boutineers pinned.  And, just like that, the clouds broke, the rain stopped and the sun burst from the sky like a child let out to play.  And the pledge of endless love was taken within a circle of  family and friends who promised their unconditional love and support.  A handsome young man and a beautiful young woman became husband and wife.  Loving endlessly.
